So i guess i'm writing to myself again
Just trying to make sure those screws are still in.
Trying to see whats in me.
Maybe that'll explain why i can't breathe
Or maybe that kiss was a steal.
The time was so tangible, but was it real?
But i guess i'll live for one last second
Because you said "Hold on to what you have."
But i can't see why that matters
Do me a favor -
Promise you'll stay for one more second.
Because, really, you're all i have
I'll explain, promise, if i ever have the chance
Why is it that i can still smell you on my shirt?
Even through the laundry it never fails to work.
So i'm lying on the floor for that second.
Trying not to bleed out what i have.
Within the lights dancing, I can't break that promise.
I'll live for one last second

*shivers slightly* Your pieces never fail to move me. i look at your work and i feel like i am being thrown back in time to flashbacks of my life. Wonderfully done. . . i hope you write more soon, the shivers i get from reading your work are hard to come by.
